Deb Dufour

Executive Director

A Colorado native, Deb Dufour proudly served in the United States Navy with assignments across Southeast Asia, Kuwait, aboard the USS Cape Cod (AD-43), and ultimately at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado in San Diego. Following her honorable discharge from active duty in 1993, Deb transitioned into the private sector, building a successful career in the telecommunications and technology industries.

Today, Deb resides in Clearfield and serves as Co-Managing Director of Nereus Cyber Systems LLC and its sister company, Resolute Focus Corporation. Through her leadership roles, she combines operational expertise, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to service. A passionate advocate for the veteran community, Deb has dedicated much of her professional and volunteer efforts to creating meaningful opportunities for veterans and their families.

In 2016, Deb became involved with Colorado Veterans Project, immediately connecting with the organization’s mission to empower veterans through community support and impact-driven initiatives. Over the years, she has served in multiple leadership capacities, including event volunteer, operational advisor, Volunteer Coordinator, and Board Secretary. In 2025, Deb transitioned into a fractional Executive Director role, where she now focuses on advancing veteran career development, workforce readiness, and employment initiatives.

Deb is committed to building strategic partnerships between veteran-focused organizations, training programs, and employers to strengthen pathways to long-term economic stability for the veteran community. Her leadership is grounded in service, collaboration, and a belief that every veteran deserves the opportunity to thrive after military service.
